Animation film workshop

On Saturday, October 21st (10:30-14:30) and Sunday, October 22nd (10:30-14:30), an animation film workshop will be held at the Olive and Greek Olive Oil Museum.
The workshop (for children 10-14 years old) aims to create a short animation film combined with the thematic sections and objects of the museum’s permanent exhibition.
Under the guidance of experienced animators Kostas Katrakis and Tasos Zervas, the children will work as a team to write the script but also to build the film’s sets and figures using simple materials (cardboard, crayons, markers, scissors, glues). They will then take photos, moving their creations in stages, photographing one pose at a time, to create the movement illusion in each scene of the film through the technique of Stop Motion Animation.
